Paver Patios, Driveways and Walkways in Pendleton
Jessamine Landscaping lays paver patios, driveways and garden paths in Pendleton, 13 miles from our Anderson base. Behind one Pendleton house we laid a wide gray patio that swings out from the back wall on a raised, curved edge, with a dark border course and a fire pit at the far end. Base prep and slope come first on every one.
Call 864-633-4524 for a Free EstimateHow much does paver installation cost in Pendleton?
The price follows the square footage, how much ground has to be dug out, the base the ground needs, the paver you pick, how much slope and drainage work the yard calls for, and how accessible the project site is. Upstate red clay holds water, so the base and drainage get the work before the pavers do. Estimates are free, and you get the number after we see the yard.

A raised paver patio with a curved edge in Pendleton
In one Pendleton backyard we raised a paver patio off the lawn and bent its outer edge in a long S-curve faced with stacked stone. A darker paver runs along the rim, so the curve reads from across the yard.
A raised patio only stays flat if the base under it is built up and packed in layers, not filled with dirt. We plan the height against your back door and set the fall for rain before the first paver goes down.

What we've built in Pendleton
- Pendleton is 13 miles from our Anderson base.
- We built flagstone slab steps with path lights up a mulched, planted slope to a dark board-and-batten house in Pendleton.
- At the foot of the slope we stacked a long boulder wall and leveled a gravel seating pad in front of it.
- In another Pendleton backyard we laid a raised paver patio with a lidded block fire pit and a curved seat wall.
Common Questions
Are pavers better than concrete?
They fail differently. A slab cracks when the ground moves, and a crack means a patch or a replacement. A paver that settles gets lifted, the base fixed, and the paver relaid. Both need good prep underneath. For patios, walkways and driveways where you want a repair and not a rebuild, pavers are what we build.
Do you fill low spots with dirt or stone?
Stone, packed down in layers. Dirt keeps compressing under a patio and leaves a dip. Filling low spots with the right material is part of proper base prep.
"Great company! They took care of our project and needs just like they said they would. Our retaining wall and paver patio looks amazing."

How We Work
- Decades of experience. We bring decades of experience to every paver patio, driveway and walkway.
- Base prep first. Proper materials and base prep under every paver, because the base decides how long the job lasts.
- Proper water drainage. The slope and drainage are planned before the first paver goes down, so water leaves the patio.
