Outdoor Living Spaces in Clemson
Jessamine Landscaping adds fire pits, gazebos, pergolas and outdoor kitchens to Clemson backyards. Whatever you pick sits on ground we level and compact first. Lex earned his degree at Clemson, and we're based 16 miles away in Anderson. Call us, tell us how you want to spend evenings outside, and we'll draw it up with a free estimate.

The price follows what you are building. A fire pit is one job, a kitchen with a pergola is another, and the base and grade under it add to the work. Estimates are free, and you get the number after we see the yard.

String lights over a Clemson gravel yard at night
We set new wood posts down a Clemson side yard and strung bulbs between them, from the back deck stairs to the woods. After dark the whole strip lights up.
Lights like that frame a space for sitting out. Add a fire pit on a compacted pad under them, a pergola at the far end or a grill station by the steps, and the side yard becomes the place everyone ends up after dinner.

What we've built in Clemson
- Clemson is 16 miles from our Anderson base.
- Lex Espinoza, who owns Jessamine Landscaping, is a Clemson grad.
- We strung bulb lights on new wood posts down a gravel side yard here, from the back deck stairs to the tree line.
Common Questions
Where should the fire pit go on a sloped yard?
On level ground, away from the house and from low branches, on a base it cannot settle into. If your yard slopes, a retaining wall or a paver patio can make the level spot for it.
"We had a solid experience with Jessamine Landscape when we converted a large planter area into a fire pit and sitting area. They were very flexible when it came to the design, efficiently (only 2 days start to finish) removed all the existing plants, made adjustments to the irrigation system, leveled the space, and installed the stone and poles. We now have a great outdoor fire pit and seating area. Thanks for their hard work and help with this project, all done at a fair price."

How We Work
- Family-owned. Lex Espinoza owns the company, and his father has done landscaping projects across the Upstate for over a decade.
- Free estimates. We look at the space and give you an estimate at no cost.
- The whole space in one project. Patio, wall, planting and fire pit from one company, so one crew plans how they fit together.
