Sod, young trees and river rock on Seneca's park lawn
At a Seneca park we built the beds along the sidewalks in river rock instead of mulch, and tucked a young evergreen and low shrubs into the stones between the black bollard lights.
Out on the open grass, every new tree got its own ring of dark mulch. We laid the sod in rows right up to the curbs, the walks and a gray stacked-stone wall.
